Socializing a dog is so easy and so much fun that a lot of people fail to take it seriously. However, without adequate socialization and habituation, your dog may face situations she is not prepared to deal with. When a dog isn’t comfortable, she is likely to react in one of two ways: by fighting or by running away. This is called the fight or flight instinct. As a result, she may develop three of the most serious and hard to resolve problems: biting, fighting, and barking.
Make sure you socialize your dog to people and teach her how to greet visitors properly.
